Install Extension

The PromptMan browser extension supports Chrome and Edge. Once installed, you can access your full prompt library from any web input field. > **INFO**: The Chrome Web Store listing is currently in review. In the meantime, grab the zip from the direct link below and install it via "Load unpacked" — the functionality is identical. ## Option A · Direct download (currently recommended) 1. **Download the installer** — Grab the latest zip: https://promptman-releases.oss-cn-beijing.aliyuncs.com/ext/promptman-0.1.6.zip 2. **Unzip the archive** — Extract promptman-0.1.6.zip to a stable folder (do not delete the extracted folder after install). 3. **Open the extensions page** — Go to chrome://extensions in Chrome or Edge and enable "Developer mode" in the top-right. 4. **Load unpacked** — Click "Load unpacked" and select the folder you just extracted. PromptMan will appear in your toolbar. 5. **Sign in & start using** — Click the extension icon and sign in to sync your library, then type / in any input field to summon your prompts. ## Option B · Chrome Web Store (coming soon) 1. **Open the Chrome Web Store** — Once live, search for "PromptMan" in the Chrome Web Store or use the direct link we'll publish. 2. **Click "Add to Chrome"** — Confirm the permissions prompt — the extension installs automatically and appears in your toolbar. 3. **Sign in to your account** — Click the extension icon and log in with your PromptMan credentials to sync your library. 4. **Start using it** — Type / in any input field to open the prompt selection panel. ## Supported Browsers | Browser | Status | | --- | --- | | Chrome 90+ | ✅ Available (direct download) | | Edge 90+ | ✅ Available (direct download) | | Firefox | 🔜 Coming soon | | Safari | 🔜 Planned | > **INFO**: The extension is < 500KB and won't impact browser performance.
